DECISION

ON ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE ENERGY LABELING FOR COMPUTER MONITORS, PRINTERS, PHOTOCOPIERS, AIR CONDITIONERS WITH FREQUENCY CONVERTER AND TELEVISION RECEIVERS

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to the Law on economical and efficient energy use dated June 28, 2011;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 95/2012/ND-CP dated November 12, 2012 on defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 51/2011/QD-TTg dated September 12, 2012 providing the list of devices and equipment subject to energy labeling and application of the minimum energy efficiency, and the implementation roadmap; the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 03/2013/QD-TTg dated January 14, 2013 on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 51/2011/QD-TTg dated September 12, 2012;

Pursuant to the Circular No. 07/2012/TT-BCT dated April 04, 2012 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade defining the energy labeling for means and equipment using energy;

Pursuant to the Decision No. 3563/QD-BKHCN dated December 27, 2012 and the Decision No. 3495/QD-BKHCN dated December 21, 2012 of the Ministry of Science and Technology on announcing the national standard on energy efficiency for computer monitors, printers, photocopiers, air conditioners without ducting and television receivers;

At the proposal of General Director of General Department of Energy,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To organize the energy labeling for computer monitors, printers, photocopiers, household air conditioners with frequency converter and television receivers.

Article 2. List of standards of energy efficiency of products is specified in Annex of this Decision.

Article 3. The General Department of Energy shall guide, receive dossier, assess and grant certificates as prescribed in  the Circular No. 07/2012/TT-BCT dated April 04, 2012 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade defining the energy labeling for means and equipment using energy.

Article 4. The Chief of Ministerial office, directors of Functional Departments, General director of General Department of Energy, relevant organizations and individuals shall implement this Decision.

Note:

^(*) Energy efficiency for Air-conditioners with frequency converter using the energy-efficiency coefficient according to CSPF Time of application is January 01, 2014
